CSGO fps issues

Hey guys I have a quick question, I've been trying to play CS:GO with my AMD A4 5300B APU and my GT 1030 GPU. For some reason my fps is only like 25 to 35 fps, and it is really irritating. My gpu driver is up to date. What should I do?

Does your Operating System have an update? Or maybe you have some applications running in the background and you might not have noticed.

Otherwise for lower end system I think it might just be a case of Anti-Aliasing, maybe try lowering the AA and see if there is any results

I have this weird thing in my taskmanager that says "system interrupts" and it looks like it takes up 5% of my cpu usage...

Well, this is a weak computer, the A4 is definitly a major bottleneck. Lower your resolution to 720p, and set AA to off.

What fps do you think I should be getting? I thought I would Easily get at least 30s... I've already lowered the settings down the lowest I could and I've even downloaded fps configs and yet still bad performance.

Well, I think a system like that should get 40-50 at 720p low.

really!? I've heard this game could run on toasters...I guess my PC is worse, isn't it?

Well, you are hitting the cpu bottleneck really hard.

yeah, is there away to like max out the GPU demanding settings to make the game run mostly on my GPU rather than my CPU? Or is that not possible with my setup?

The problem here is your CPU is quite bad. Upgrading to an Athlon would be a huge performance increase in the future.

If you're on windows 10, don't forget to turn off that Xbox live thing that runs with CSGO.

Unfortunately this system is going struggle in gaming due to main components (i.e. CPU and GPU) being too slow to handle loads like that.

Thanks alot guys my fps has increased to around 40 to 60 fps (Mostly). I'm going to have to upgrade to a new pc soon.
