OBS Scaling - Huge Trouble

Hey peeps.

Lil' help needed. Trying to record window capture and I have no clue on how to fix this weird scaling issue. Please help!

What scaling issue? You're seeing a loop of the window you're recording lol

This is a screenshot of a recording. it has this huge loop, it doesn't show the window and look how tiny the controls are at the bottom. It was fine on my old 1080p monitor but when I went to 4K, the scaling whacked out.

Well yea there are a ton of vids, even from LTT, that windows scaling sucks. You need to get used to it - windows will try to upscale things it knows how, in this case, just the window text, but OBS itself is still in native size, which makes it look "weird" to you. 

 

On your 1080p screen, it didn't need to upscale anything, so that's why it seemed fine, but since the text gets too small on a smaller 4K screen, you have display scaling set to 125% (probably), which works well with some programs, but only a few
