1. Use of software to dim the blue light. Window's built-in feature called Night Light or third-part software f.lux.

2. Put a LED strip behind the monitor to reduce sharp contrast. Preferably orange color. And not too bright.

Yes. It's called bias lighting. It helps A LOT and also looks prettier:D But only when you're in a DARK room with nothing around you providing light other than the display itself.

So, pretty much just turn all the RGB thing you have around you to one color if you want bias lighting these days. :P

If you are in a dark room then as said before you can use software like f.lux to dim the screen so, it's a bit easier on your eyes.

It's weird at first but, you'll get used to it after a while.

If you don't like that then, you can simply turn the lights on or let some sunlight in and take short breaks from the computer.

Bias lighting is nice especially if you don't want to have your lights on for your entire room at night. (I sure don't.)

Just put some LED strips behind your desk and monitor that should provide enough light.

I personally use f.lux but, then again I don't use my PC at night too much anymore.

My body is getting weaker and it demands sleep. :/
