PLEX -- Disable subtitles by default?

>Prefer Subtitles in: None (bottom of the list).

 

I believe that should cause subtitles to be off by default. 

Is there a way to disable subtitles by default on any files that have a separate subtitle track?

Uhh, no... It's been years since burned in subtitles have been the norm. o.O  The OP is also pretty clear;

They're referring to files with subtitle TRACKS, as in soft subs that are rendered during playback and not burned into the video.  Which is the norm for most subtitles these days.
