i wanted to know if KIller Wireless cards are worth getting or if i should just stick with intel wifi chips when configuring new laptops. What are people's experience with Killer Wireless cards?

I had a Killer in my XPS 15. Swapped it out for an intel for more consistent performance.

Killer has had a pattern of driver related issues which they seemed to have fix recently. However whenever I had a problem with WiFi I always questioned if it is the KIller drivers. So I switched to Intel and it simply works.

Pros and Cons: Intel

Pro: It simply works. Latest drivers come though windows updates. No drops.

Cons: (At worst) 5% less performance or 2 ms higher ping (10ms vs 12 ms speedtest)

Go with Intel. Its worth it for the less headaches.

Yeah, Killer Wifi cards have been nothing but trouble for me, so whatever performance gains were lost. I've stuck with stock Intel card in my XPS 13
