Hey first time poster and builder here looking on feedback for this part list for a build I'm planning to do. The build will be used for 1080p 60fps gaming on a single monitor, the primary game of focus for this build is running Starcraft 2 on Ultra at 60fps (whenever possible as I've heard even with top end builds you still experience framerate drops In late game fights), other than sc2 overwatch would be another game I'd like to be able to run at high/ultra at 1080p 60fps. I'm purchasing parts In Canada and I'd like to keep the build under $1500 CAD if possible, I already have the monitor and gaming headset purchased. Here is a link to my PcPartPicker: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Higoo/saved/rXR8K8 . I am a first time builder and unfortunately I don't have any friends who are into building PC's so I'm going at this with just me and any internet resources available to me, so any tips or helpful advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Is the monitor, even though it's purchased, counting towards that $1500 CAD budget limit?

Made a few tweaks, the PSU and Memory can be used regardless of what direction you go and will be slightly cheaper but better quality.

Didn't want to go too far before getting an answer about the monitor though but this will be a much more rounded build. Can make more adjustments later though.

Hi, no the headset and monitor don't count towards that $1500 budget should have mentioned that sorry. thanks for the reply. although just wondering on your CPU recommendation, I'm not sure if this is 100% true but I was doing some looking earlier and it seems Like Starcraft 2 will only use at max 2 cores, so thats why I choose the intel pentium g4560 as it has 2 cores at 3.5 GHz would the quad core at a lower clock speed be and upgrade in performance if the game only utilizes 2 cores?

Ah, if that's the case then I would go for one of these:

The 8400 or 8100 would provide higher base core clock speeds and very nice turbo speeds as well.

Two have 16GB of RAM which could help keep you going for longer but prices are a tad high on RAM rijght now so that will be up to you.

I swapped out the Ryzen processor to a 1600 with 16GB of RAM but you can adjust. You'll get a nice overclock out of the Ryzen processor as well so that will bring it well above the G4560 as well. Some of these will be down to your choice on the Intel or Ryzen side but generally it will come down to the games you play and if they use more cores or benefit from higher clocked cores. I would suggest thinking towards the future as well. The 8400 or 1600 would provide a good mix of performance but depending on when you build you could also look at the B or H series Intel boards in the next month or so when they drop to save a bit.
