Looking for advice on Laser Printers

im looking to purchase a laser printer for my dad , he needs it to print his AutoCAD drawings on 11x17 paper

i am not familiar laser printers at all despite having used them in office environments

 

Whats a reputable and reliable brand?

What specifications should i be looking for?

Are certain types of toners more efficient than others?

Im not even certain of what price to expect, i was hoping to purchase a printer new/used for around $200 CAD
