It doesn't help that you're looking to build a PC at quite possibly the worst time in a long time to build one.

Best I could do: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qJhbsJ

Note that this is if you are not going to have any used parts. Used GPUs are recommended if you can get one for the right price.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Peripherals - Corsair K70 Lux RGB | Corsair Scimitar RGB | Audio-technica ATH M50X + Antlion Modmic 5 |

CPU/GPU history: Athlon 6000+/HD4850 > i7 2600k/GTX 580, R9 390, R9 Fury > i7 7700K/R9 Fury, 1080TI > Ryzen 1700/1080TI > i7 9700K/1080TI.

Other tech: Surface Pro 4 (i5/128GB), Lenovo Ideapad Y510P w/ Kali, OnePlus 6T (8G/128G), PS4 Slim.

Decent build. Could trim some things down if you were trying to maximize every single dollar but If not penny pinching its good.

It really is a bad Month to buy. its Crazy basically $100 for 8gbs of ram. Few years back be it DRR3 i paid $38 for 8gb and $180 for a r9 290 that would be similar in GPU performance. to a 1050ti.

My microcenter after the latest crash GPU pricing are starting to come back to reality a little so its looking tiny bit positive.

I never encourage penny pinching when it comes to builds tbh. Comes back to haunt you later on.

Just configuring this one made me cringe a bit :P

I've got to agree with you on this one. Normally I would even recommend the buyer to just wait it out but....I don't know what will happen next month.

Yeah no one does. Last years been pretty Eh sort of high. But Last 5 weeks have been way out of the park compared to the last year. The Trend right now on ebay is slightly curving back downwards and so is my local stores. id at least wait a tiny bit and see before pulling a trigger. But the 1050TI is only $80ish high not a big deal if you wanted to pull the trigger now its not that wasteful. IF you were hoping for a 1060 in the $700 build range though its way overpriced.
