Hey guys,

I wish to purchase a new gaming mouse, after my old Ikari laser died, I bought a steelseries Dialbo3 mouse, but it has connection problems all day long, and it's driving me nuts, not even the steelseries support team knows how to fix it, which is rather disturbing.

I liked the mouse, and would like something similair in form and size, any suggestions?

Intelli / wmo / Zowie EC1/EC2/AM / Deathadder / G400 - Pretty much the best + most common mice really.

The Ikari is awesome and it has a more ergonomic design like the MX series and G400 so check that out perhaps.

The Diablo 3 mouse is pretty much a Xai/Sensei afaik so the WMO (Intellimouse 1.1a) and Zowie AM share the similar ambidextrous form factor.

Do you want side buttons or any other features like on the fly dpi changing?

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

I used the ikari laser for quite some time before it finally died and I was crushed. It has easily been my favorite mouse as it tracked smooth, felt amazing, and all buttons were placed perfectly. It just felt right using that mouse.

After shopping around and searching I finally settled on the logitech g9x. (picked up the COD MW3 edition, as it was a quarter of the price)

When I went from the ikari to the G9x, it felt a little awkward at first but after some time I am happy with my choice.

They perform similar when moving slow, or moving quickly. The shape is different and it's more of a claw palm hybrid if you use the largest cover but it's still very comfortable to use.

I would say the the scroll wheel is a little stiff, but there is a button the bottom of the mouse to enable free float where it removes all the 'clicks' great for browsing long pages.

I'd recommend the G9x for anyone who is switching from the Ikari (assuming they can't get another ikari). It's a great mouse in itself and you will find that familiar feel when using it.

Just make sure you set up the DPI on the mouse correctly. In the mouse software set it to the highest possible DPI and then use the OS settings to slow it down to a use able speed. Test in paint trying to do small circles to test how smooth various settings are.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.
