Promotion for an E-commerce website "Read First"

I am currently working on an E-Commerce website but I need to promote it (obviously). I just want to know where to start?

AdSense or Social Media or anything other. Just give me a lead. And also any other tips you might wanna give me.

Everything.

Post it everywhere, in a non-spammy way of course, to try and get the word out. Tell friends and have them tell their friends, etc.

Some methods that have worked for my 8 stores has been friends and family sharing it out, Facebook ads (really scale-able) and influences.
