Is my Overclock good?

i5 3570K @ 4.4GHz 1.176 Volts

Temps: Avg 65-70C with Max Temp of 71C (Tested with RealBench)

Temps: Avg 65-72C with Max Temp of 78C (Tested with AIDA64 FPU on)

Is this a decent overclock? Using a Hyper 212 EVO

Forgot to mention, I was using offset mode. Volts were around 1.176 to 1.182

food for thought: stable clocks are known over long periods of time without random crap happening.  Stress stable and actual stable aren't always the same.

Anyways congrats on the clock, my 3570k has a very poor cooler so I never clocked it much.

Try OCCT - Linpack Stress test (64 bit, AVX Capable Linpack (Check if you can use AVX), Use all Logical Cores). This will give you max temps and the lowest Vcore or prime95 small FFTs.

Yes. I tried Prime95 Small FFTs. Have not yet tested for an hour but playing games, I'm okay. Tested for around 15 mins in Prime95, will test tomorrow for 4 hours. Prime95 gave me 78C

Point of prime95 stress test is to go through all test cases, for Small FFTS it will need ~4h (not sure, never tried to go through full test), for Blend test which is full test you need ~8-9h.  But quick and probably the hardest test is OCCT - Linpack Stress test (64 bit, AVX Capable Linpack (Check if you can use AVX), Use all Logical Cores) for 20 mins.
