I've just plugged my Samsung 960 EVO into my motherboard, ready for a fresh windows install.

In the bios (gigabyte motherboard) under "intel rapid storage technology" the drive shows up under "Non-RAID Physical Disks". But when running window's installer it doesn't show up when selecting what drive to install it on.

In the bios under NVME devices it says "no NVME devices found"

EDIT: It now does display in windows installer, but it says "windows can not be installed on this station"

Anyone have any idea on what to do to resolve this issue?

I have indeed not loaded the driver, how would I go about doing that?

The motherboard in question:

GIGABYTE GA-H270-Gaming 3

Here is the driver support page from Gigabyte's site, but I have never had to load any drivers to get this kind of thing to work with Gig boards, everything just worked.  Hmmmmm.
