Hectic Stuttering on GTA V

I have GTX 1050ti and an a Pentium G2030. When I played the opening scene in GTA the performance was great. However after that when you are in the proper map I have terrible Stuttering. I suspect the the Pentium is the problem but would like to confirm it first.

Yes, it is most likely due to the Pentium. I used a celeron g3900 as a placeholder CPU before i got my i7 and my gta V was unplayable until i swapped it out.

Yes, the Pentium is the problem.

Disable shadowplay if you use it too. Gta v can stutter quite a bit with shadowplay if it's recording to the same drive as the one the game is played on.

I'm not using shadow play but would putting GTA on a SSD help.

I don't think so, would maybe improve loading times..But as others have said, improving your cpu would probably help quite a bit.
What graphics settings are you using and is vsync on? If so it may be worth turning it off.
