If you keep a close eye on newegg's emails, they offer some "deals" (they are still screwing you, but not as deep or as rough) on memory every now and again. Can def do better than these prices, and buy a reputable brand from a store with a return policy.

It is not 16GB of DDR4 for $100. It is 16GB of DDR4 for $200.

meh for 2400 DDR4 8GB. 16GB is $205.59 and these are single stick pricing (no dual channel unless using two sticks)
