How much would a used XFX R9 390X be worth? don't really want to give into all the mining prices, but if one would want to post that as well that would be fine

I think that could get more so in the $400 range used.  Similar cards with bids on Ebay are already at $400+ plus the card new is selling for over $600

 

if you were selling locally I would target $500 range

that is only with the mining stuff going considering a 1070 should realistically be selling for it's MSRP, and an R9 390x has less performance than a 1070
