Do you need 4TB or can you go down to 2 or 3?

Just to bring the price down a bit.

You can also buy a 2TB HDD now and then add another one down the line if you have the option to do that.

What do you think about the rest of the PC?

The rest of the list looks good to my unprofessional eyes.. other people might find other things to say about it tho.

If you already have a PC right now then maybe upgrading some parts while leaving the others can be an option too.

This PC is going to be a beast when it comes to performance, but I would say that if you're going to use this system for years to come, upgrading to 32 gigs might be nice, but totally unnecessary. Up to you!

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

What are the Benefits of it?

Not much, unless you're going to have like 10+ programs open at any given moment.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

You don't need the 8700k for gaming - 8600k is a beast, and at that price you should really have a nicer case than the plain S340 - How's a Crystal 460x sound? Also changed out that sh*t motherboard for a good Asus one.
