You don't really want the "X" variant as it is just higher clocked and you can OC a normal one to that speed.

For $100 you should be getting a lot more than 60GB. More like 128 - 240GB SSD.

I would get a Ryzen 3 and a better GPU if this is for gaming.

Can you link the pc partpicker list? Your lucky to find a rx 570. I would also (If you can find it for the cost) get a rx 580 over a 570, or pivot to a 1060 6gb (again if you can find it for the right price.

Also don't buy a 1500x. Either way for the Ryzen + starting in February, or buy the 1600, its totally worth it. I don't think any of the R5 non 1600 are worth it. Either a 1200 or a 1600.

I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself

samsung 850 evo 250gb ssd' are $99 on sale and they have been going on small sales if you can find them. I would either spend an extra $40 for the 6 core ryzen 5 1600 or save $60 and go with a ryzen 3 1200. And how much is the video card in all of this because the rx 470 is a verrry popular mining card and unless you have a nice friend selling it to you for cheap I can tell you it's gonna be expensive

Ya, no everything needs to be fixed

Where are you even buying the GPU? When were you going to build this? You should 100% wait for the ryzen APUs coming in february, unless you already have the RX 570

This is my first Ryzen build . I always tend to lean towards intel but i want to give Ryzen a shot , I've seen good reviews.

Wow much better now. I think i'm going to base my build off these parts. I will obviously wait 3 months or so for GPU prices to go down.

Thanks for the critic guys. Much needed.

Just get an APU build when it launches soon, it gives you basically an R5 1400 + RX 550 for a decent price.

And if you're waiting longer than the Ryzen APUs, Ryzen + is coming with X470 boards, so there's not much reason to plan now.

That case has no airflow, shouldn't buy it. Could drop the SSD and get a better motherboard, just add an SSD later as well when it's prices are down. Or buy a Seagate Firecuda should they go on sale, it's a hybrid drive.

Has there been any word on whether the ryzen 2200g/2400g will work on b350 boards?

Course it will, it'll just need a BIOS update, and there should be new/updated boards shipping with updated BIOS
