CoD Ghosts Mic Issue

Anyone else having problems with making their mic work? I have the Tiamat 2.2 and they work fine in skype, but whenever I play Ghosts no one can hear me. Any ideas on what is wrong? I could really use some help.

No seriously, I have heard other people talking in the game and it's annoying me that I can't make it work.

I have never heard anyone talking in Ghosts (PC). I haven't tried voice chat myself so can't help.

I neither own the game nor the headset.

 

• Have you installed all the drivers correctly?
• Is your Mic set as the default recording device in your windows soundmanager?
• Is your Mic set as the recording device in CoD?

Control Panel --> Hardware and Sound --> Sound --> Recording --> Right click the mic your using and click properties --> Levels. Then make sure mic is on 100% and boost on 30 dB.

 

Make sure to lower the boost to 20 dB when on anything else.
