Wiping and initializing an mSATA SSD that was previously in RAID 0

Go to solution Solved by therealbattler,

I have solved the problem by booting into a Live USB of Ubuntu, running GParted, adding the msdos partition table and formatting the drive as NTFS.

I have a laptop with two free mSATA ports. Today I bought one mSATA drive from a guy with the same laptop as I have. When I installed it in my laptop, I found out that I cannot initialize the disk through the windows disk manager. is there any way for me to get access to the drive? diskpart does not see it, but HD Sentinel and similar programs do - they can't do anything with it though. What can I do?

Thanks in advance!
