A question from a noob to a miner.

I know there's a lot of variation when it comes to how much profit per day you can make with a video card because it depends which card you're using, What currency you're mining and the cost of power but would someone be able to give me a ball park number how much i could make with an R9 390 or GTX 1070 per day for example? A few dollars? The simple reason i'm asking is because i was about to sell a video card and make about $100 profit because of the inflated video card prices but if i could gain that same profit over the course of a month for example by just using the card to mine i think i'd rather do that.

im getting around $4 a day with 30h/s on eth, am i doing something wrong?

1070 maybe could have been 10 bucks a day Canadian when the coins where all at record highs but right now you can't even get that from a 1080ti, EVERYTHING has dropped HUGE percentages in the last week
