I have finally decided to upgrade my old rig. My old computer has a I5-3570K@3.40GHz, 8GB RAM and a new GTX 1070.
Everytime I play GTA, or any other games that requires some specs, my computer lags like crazy. I guess it's because of the CPU?

I consider A switch to AMD Ryzen 7 with a MSI x370 (please recommend motherboards for Ryzen 7) and DDR4-32GB Ram.
Would that perform well with gaming? 9_9

Regards, Simon

yes

try to go for higher speed RAM (3200ish is good enough)

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.
