Hello everyone,

I wasn't able to find information that confirmed the nvme SSD performance hit globaly after the recent Intel / AMD CPU kernel vulnerabilities and the Windows, Chipset, BIOS updates that followed.

So far I've updated Windows 10 pro to the latest version and have installed all of the latest ASUS Maximus IX Hero MOBO updates.

I'm running a core i7 7700K, 16GB RAM, 950 EVO 500GB. Unfortunately I don't have my SSD test speeds before the update, never thought I'll need those for a comparison.

Now I've only used the Samsung magician test and the Crystal Disk Mark test to check the performance of the SSD, also ran the tests at both 2x and 4x.

Here are my results, please share if you are experiencing similar performance hit on your nvme SSD speeds.
