IMHO you won't see a major difference[P2P] as most programs are still not made to use more than 8 cores. So you can buy 8700 to save your money.

See, as you climb the ladder further the price to performance ratio goes down. A $120 processor will not perform 2x more than a $60 one. It will perform 1.5x to that.

Also, try to find a little used one. You can save $50 with that.

thats right. also i9 is overpriced, because its the top model 8th gen.
