I have this issue sometimes.

Try the following:

1. Command Prompt (open as admin)

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

Restart your PC after that.

2. Unplug both your modem and/or router for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Usually this works wonders and should be done every time you have this issue.

3. Call your ISP. If you're using Coax (cable) internet, ask them to do a line test and see if your connection is in spec with what service you're being provided from the ISP.

4. Cry it out, ask Gaben why your internet is slow and hope he can fix it for you. /s

5. If all else fails, try netsh winsock reset and then follow #1 again and see what happens.
