The Windows 8 tutorial works for Windows 10 using the Windows 10 install media if that's the OS you're using.

If you value anything stored on that drive.  Stop what you are doing immediately and call a professional technician.  You are entering territory I have seen over and over in the field that leads to: "I just lost all my games, photos, videos, work/school work?"

 

If you don't value anything that much, I would still call a technician or at least run some diagnostics on that PC before it gets worse.  Partition tables don't usually get screwed up as a fluke.  It is usually failure of a core/critical PC component.
