SSD's that are going to be large enough capacity for your gaming needs are going to be expensive, used or not, but, if you are looking for a boot drive to put just a couple of the main games you play and important programs, you shouldnt need to spend more than 100-125 bucks on a new SSD.

I currently stopped gaming due to the fact I had to move to satellite internet, now I’m just using it for normal use and Running some OS in virtual machines ( Oracle VBox) my current disk space used is 41 Gigabytes

Okay, if you don't need mass storage, and want an SSD on the cheap, used isn't a terrible option. Just verify that it isn't too old, and that it was manufactured by a reputable brand, and you should be good to go.
