$1500 Productivity Laptop

I'm looking for a laptop as I'm about to leave for university. I have a budget of around $1500-1800 max and need something for general course/everyday use and potentially some light gaming. I don't care much for features like touch screen etc. but I'd like something with a decent build quality and keyboard. Any help is appreciated.

XPS 15, or if you need something smaller, the XPS 13.  You won't regret it :)

Damn the XPS 15 is just over budget and I think the XPS 13 will be a little small hahahah. The 13 might still be a good option but if I could find something in between it'd perfect

This dell laptop is good for its price. It is powered by a quad core i7 6700 HQ processor with a GTX 960M. Good for gaming as well as productivity. It also includes a 4k LED touchscreen. This is a really good deal in terms of its price

My vote is for the 13" MacBook Pro. Not sure what your course needs are but this can certainly do some light gaming with its Intel Iris Graphics (on low settings and at 900p) and it ticks the boxes on the build quality and imo the Keyboard. Its also light and gets great battery life.

get the xps 15 1080p 11.5 hours of battery... 4k is not very nice in my opinion in such small display... and for gaming... u will have to upscale to 1080p :\ not good for image quality...
get the Starting at $999.99
add
® GeForce® GTX 1050 with 4GB GDDR5
add the i5-7300HQ Q if u want it...
but keep the 7200rpm drive...
