Just read the compatibility list from your mainboard.

 

That one is usually on the manufacturers website for your board

Its not the CPU you need to check, its the motherboard manufactures QVL list. 

 

With Ryzen, if its NOT on the QVL, there is a chance it will not work.

Oh alright, thanks for the tip guys :D

The motherboard in question is a MSI Tomahawk B350 Artic, I checked the compatibility. 

I was careful to select the Ryzen compatibility.

Whether you can hit 3200MHz on Ryzen depends on a lot of things.

The main factor is the quality of the Integrated Memory Controller and then how well the BIOS supports RAM OC.

Some boards like the Gigabyte K5 or K7 are great for RAM OC on Ryzen but they are more expensive than your typical boards.

 

The RAM will definitely work but you may not be able to hit the 3200MHz.
