Monitor response time isn't going to matter

always go IPS

Nixeus has a display with the same panel and a better stand if you can find it for the same price.

What's your CPU though?

I can't decide whether I should get the Acer XG270HU or the Pixio New PX277.

The PX has an IPS panel, but it's response time is 6 milliseconds which is more than the XG's 1 ms.

They both support FreeSync, but I really don't care because I have an Nvidia graphics card. (GTX 1080)

I picked this 2 monitors because they were the best ones under $400 USD.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I have an Intel i7 6700K. I'm already using a 4k 60hz panel. I'm planning to use a 2k 144Hz panel as a secondary for games.

What's the name of the Nixeus panel?

The nixeus stand has all the usual adjustments. Worth the price for sure if you don't have a monitor arm ready to go.

Though really you'd probably get by just fine with an under $300 1080p 144hz display, either TN or VA if you can find one.

I don’t really like the design of the mixers, and it’s more expensive. I think I’ll stick to the Pixio. Thanks for your help.
