OK so i need some help bout a motherboard thing. i just built my new ryzen 5 1600x workstation a few days ago and got it started. Now i bought some Corsair vengeance LPX RAM that was rated at 2666mhz and plugged it in my motherboard then booted up my pc. when i reached the BIOS the speed was immediate 2133 mhz. Now i know that ryzen likes higher RAM speeds, and that why i want to set my ram speeds however i tried to to do that but i think i stuffed up and it wouldn't boot. I went into the bios and just selected a higher memory speed without touching voltages or RAM latency's or the OHM setting whatsoever. i think i did this wrong #and id like a step by step walk though of how to over clock my RAM correctly: Note its seas the was system stability issues and brought me back to post then BIOS, BUT i have only been playing games and so far it has only affected frames by like 3 to 4 FPS. But i do intend to use this for things like blender CPU mark and other stuff, so SHOULD i set my RAM speeds Higher? i have an asus b350f motherboard, and Dont know where to find XMP thanks!!!
