My first computer build with loop. I need help which fluids to use I cant find any. I don't wanna run just distilled water. I would like baby blue fluid is there any good clear fluid brands on amazon I could use then where do I find baby blue die?

They have pastel in baby blue but if you want to dye clear fluid this is the range of color you approx expect.

here a question what could I use if I wanted to just use distilled water what additive would I need to use?

That depends on your components, if you have nickel your options are limited to premix or (clear) PT Nuke. Running just distilled water and additives though won't provide any corrosion inhibitors.

Mayhems is the top choice. I currently use XT-1 Nuke UV Blue, which is listed on Amazon.com. It's also designed for longer system life.

Current Build: Project Frost
Gaming Rig Build: Project Ice Dragon

I've been using Mayhems X1 and their dyes in the past with distilled water. Never had any issue, corrosion or growth happening in my loop.

Now I'm running EK-Cryofuel mixed with distilled water for like 3-4 months and still going strong. I can recommend both these concentrates.

ok I'm pretty sure everything I got is coper rad gpu block and cpu block.

I'm just looking for a good fluid to use lol

If you have any nickel plating on fittings or blocks it needs to be taken in consideration, for the best fluid a premix is best, Mayhems X1 or EKWB's Croyfuels are good options. Both are compatible with PETG tubing.

XT-1 Nuke Isn't recommended for PETG tubing as it's ethylene glycol based.

Yeah pastel is fine to use with PETG, for your loop you might need two or three bottles, due to the volume of the res units, rads and long tubing runs.

do you think it would be ok to add some dye to the white?

Yeah it's not a problem if you want to dye your own blue pastel fluid. Note that white pastel soaks up a lot of dye for coloring so you might need two dye bottles if you have a lot of fluid running through the loop. I would do a test fill to see exactly how much fluid you will need so you don't run short when ordering.

yea I plan of running a distilled water for a few days just to run through system for leaks and such then drain as much out as I can then ill add the white my res are 400mil each so I think I wouldn't need anymore then 3 bottles really and 2 dye packs because I'm going light color wont be doing any dark

You will want to completely drain the loop and premix the fluid outside of the loop to get an accurate mix, if you dilute it too far you run the risk of getting a watery milk white and the concentration of biocides and PH being too low.

From my experience mixing more into a loop doesn't hurt however it just makes it more opaque.
