HDD causing chkdsk to run on ssd?

fojacko

OK, so I'm installing win7 and whenever it restarts I get chkdsk pop up asking to scan my ssd. Now I figured the installation had corrupted so I tried again, the same pop up. So I unplugged all drives except my ssd and the installation continues without chkdsk popping up. After installing, I decided to plug the HDDs back in one by one. Whenever I added a HDD (doesn't matter which), the chkdsk pops up.

PS: I have also run the chkdsk manually in the command prompt, no drives had any errors.

PPS: When I let the chkdsk timer run down (or skip it) the timer freezes and nothing happens.

My Build

GPU: MSI GTX 1080 ARMOUR | CPU: i7 9700k | Ram: 16gb 3200mhz Motherboard: ASUS Maximus XI Gene | Storage: 2x 1TB NVME 1x 500GB NVME 1x 120GB NVME | Case: Corsair 570X
