Hi Guys,

I got a question. A few days ago I had seen in my program files a new file called VulkanRT. First I didn't know what it was. But afther some googleing I find out that VulkanRT is a new API.

But I didnt instal this, how is it posseblie that it is on my pc? If I want to open the files in the Progam Files, the systeem will not allow me to do that.

Also VulkanRT does not show at my app list. Is there a away to remove it without harming my pc?

I also have some issue with age of empire 2 form steam. first i could play hours without loseing fps. now afther play a hour i lose 1/2 of my fps. form 60fps to 30fps.

does this come because the vulkanrt?

Since I've only seen this since I've had my Nvidia card.........VulkanRT is with Nvidia Drivers I believe... (VulkanAPI related) and should be kept on the system.
They should/will not hinder performance as on non-Vulkan titles, nothing here would be used, so It's likely not the cause of your AGE2 performance drops.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

VulkanRT is the Vulkan RunTime used by Vulkan Apps. It's installed by your graphics drivers which in this case is Nvidia's GeForce drivers.

It's probably a good idea to leave it alone and not uninstall it.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
