Hi, I just curious to know, when I would be doing raid 0 it wouldn't stripe over two disks system files, where os resides, or it would? If raid 0 stripes and system files then when I go to bios setup, then boot order I would see  model name of disk1/model name of disk2 on the same line ? or how it would look like?  Perhabs it would show one model name of 2 disks in raid 0 when 2drives are identical, but when they are same specifications but different manufacturers it's obscure..

RAID0 would be the whole disk, OS and all.

 

IIRC, BIOS would detect each drive separately. Your boot menu would show the boot path (which is usually just Windows Boot Manager). If you try to boot on one of the disks used for the RAID, you would get an error stating that the disk is part of a RAID and cannot be booted to individually.
