Hey Guys,

I’m new to the whole computer building scene. I am looking to build a computer for about $1000 give or take a few hundred. I wanted it to be a Intel and NIVIDEA Build, mostly be productivity minded but still capable of handling modern titles. I need help with finding the most value motherboard, CPU (Intel), GPU (NVIDEA), power supply, RAM, SSD and/or Hard Drive, cooling, case,  and mouse. RGB would be nice though if not, a black and blue theme would be preferred, something not overly-gamery. I also would prefer it to be as quiet as possible.  All parts should be available on either Amazon, Newegg, or any other reputable vendor.

Parts I Am Thinking of Getting: (Subject to change)

Moniter: Acer R240HY bidx ($130)

Keyboard: Azio Levetron L70 ($30)

If you are just looking for help with compatability of products there are great websites out there that could help with that. One of which is pcpartpicker. I would recommend checking that site out. It also has some great community featured builds that can give you a good idea of where to start, or straight up copy them.

The MG110? That's a pretty bad case, it's only good for the money because it's $30. But there are some much better choices of case for $50-$55. Anyway, here's a build with one of them.

It's also gonna be AMD because outside the high-end 8700K it's a better choice for the midrange.

Do the monitor and peripherals need to fit in the budget? Then no G-Sync for you.

This looks amazing. I would also recommend this. But I would say u get the Fractal Design Meshify C. And since u would do productivity, u can get an i5-8400 and GTX 1060.

Well no, if they're gonna do productivity they go Ryzen 5 1600 and keep the 1070.

OP can get the 1070 even with 8400 i think. And some of the most high level workloads in Adobe apps and have ended up being optimized for single threaded workloads.

So Ryzen is not always fruitful. Even tho Ryzen's stock heatsink performs really enough for no OC and minor workload.

Don't just state that, make a parts list that accommodates both :P

In that case might as well keep the 8350K since that hits 5GHz pretty much without question whereas the 8400 turbos around 3.5-3.8 on all cores.
