Faulty GPU

Hi

I have a asus RX 480, when i try to play any games on it just crashes and the screen goes green and pc freezes, the only way i can get it back on it to do a forced restart. I have looked on google but cant find anybody with the same problem. I have since been sent a replacement card but they never collected the old graphics card (this was about 8 month ago). . Does anybody know what wrong with the card or if it can be fixed or is it worth selling for spares.
