Hey guys,

I'm going to build a new Pc and i need a bit of help.

i have a list on Pc Part Picker and i have an issue.

I am getting this message

  • The NZXT - Kraken X52 Liquid CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Asus - STRIX X370-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard.

I cannot find any websites that have the answer to this but i really hope that i don't need get a mount for the cooler/motherboard.

Thanks.

it just means the older manufactured X52s might not have the am4 brackets included, if it doesn't then just order the am4 mounts from here: https://www.nzxt.com/am4-bracket

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Posting the permalink or using the [bb] button in pcpartpicker and copying the nicely formatted list makes it easier to checkout part numbers.

NZXT Kraken X52 Rev 2 is less expensive and comes with the appropriate bracket. If you assembled the build more than a week or two ago, go through the choices to see if there are updates and/or better pricing.

If you want 32GB of memory, I would suggest getting a 2x16GB kit. This would leave two memory slots free for upgrades. If you want to fully populate the memory slots, I would suggest getting a 4x8GB memory kit.

You might consider a less expensive case.

I would suggest a fully modular psu that is better priced. SeaSonic FOCUS PLUS 850 GoldCorsair RM850x, or EVGA SuperNOVA 850 would be good choices.

850W is likely far more capacity than needed to run efficiently. Depending on the gpu a 550W or 650W psu would be a better choice.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
