No, but at 144hz, tearing isn't really an issue, unless aren't able to reach 144FPS. With the money you saved from the monitor, you will be able to get a better graphics card though.

 

Freesync is for AMD cards, however the recent increase in ethereum price has made the prices skyrocket.
