Can It Drive My Headphones?

Hello,

So I plan on buying Sony MDR 7506, as I started learning more about music and such, and I wonder if my motherboard (ASUS TUF B350M PLUS GAMING) with ALC887 driver can drive them? or would I need an amp?

Also, do you have any other monitor headphone suggestions sub $80 than the Sony MDR 7506? They seem pretty good price for value with tons of positive reviews!

It will drive them. But I always recommend an Amp and DAC if you can

From a pure sound quality perspective once you go above the MDr 7506's you should really be looking at monitors like the Eris's

It is a very budget headphone, and a decent amp would cost more than the headphones themselves, I know its an investment but I would then get a better headphone for that extra $$, get me?
