what is wrong with my pc?

Go to solution Solved by Blebekblebek,

Change it to 16GB or more.

Multiplayer and single player games had different measure to keep fps constant.

Generally MMO are often favour CPU/RAM instead GPU, adding another 4GB definitely the best option you can get.

I also don't understand why you prioritized SSD instead of ram for gaming purpose.

my pc seems to be bottle necking almost all of my games, when I first go into a match of overwatch for example, my fps drops down to 4 for a period of time and then shoots back up to 100-120 fps... this happens through out the whole match, can some one help me resolve this :)

my pc contains

gtx 1050ti

500 gb hdd

240gb ssd

intel Pentium g4560

4 gigs of ram

stock cooler

a usb wifi thingy thing- average png is 18-21

Use MSI Afterburner to monitor GPU and CPU usage, might be worth enabling ram monitoring too, to see how much i used.

Try and take a screenshot or remember the usages when you get an FPS dip.

ok will do, just in the mean time though, is this normal?

He is using 4GB RAM

at some point it will choke

Get another 4GB and mostlikely your problem would be gone.

as for temporary solution increase your pagefile, that's all you can do.

How would I be able to do that?
