Photo editing and Gaming

I currently have a Dell Ultrasharp U3415W monitor. I have been thinking about selling my ultrawide to get another monitor for gaming as well as photo editing and was wanting to get some input. Is there another monitor in the sub $400-$500 that would be superior or close to it for gaming/editing or am I better of sticking with what I have. I also would consider getting one monitor for gaming and one for editing if I'm better off going that route. Thank you in advance for the help!

Your pretty much downgrading

Unless you get linus's Korean monitor
