New headphones sound distant? [Solved]

Arithen

My new computer is up and running with the GA-Z270x-Gaming K5 Motherboard. I have - what i believe to be - all the drivers installed correctly. However, my new headphones (Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Professional Headphones) sound slightly distant and I'm not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions?

That happened to me when I had the cord plugged in reverse. But I’m not sure if you have a separate cord for your headphones or not. If so try plugging it out and reverse it.

Best of luck

How do you plug in a 1/8" jack in "reverse"?

Hah, that was actually correct. We didn't have it in the wrong side, but the cord wasn't put into the actual headphones properly.
