acer asus are good brands. pixio is good too but i believe they're Korean. the PX277 you selected is good

IPS 144hz is nice. the IPS technology will be beneficial for color work and games (depending on monitor input lag)

edit: the PX277 is freesync, available only for AMD GPUs

There's generally no "Good Brand" for anything, people make bad/good products all the time

If you're looking to buy a monitor

PC hardware, What kind of games, and what budget/country?

If you mean monitor specs in general you always want VA/IPS over TN if you can help it.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

i am from midwest and 500 i have nvidia card as i need ips no tn

Meant more if you were playing a lot of fps games or esports games

your choice is basically 1440p 144hz VA/IPS or 4k 60hz IPS

The 4k monitor was $299 for a bit.

VA is basically IPS for all intents and purposes

There are better true IPS panels for say 100% adobe RGB or true 100% sRGB

do you need high levels of color accuracy? or is better than TN enough?

You can't really get both, the colors on the AH-VA display will be better than TN and good enough unless you're doing professional photo and video editing

That one is AHVA, All of them are likely AHVA for 144hz
http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus_mg279q.htm

Do you need perfect color accuracy for professional work? Because the AHVA panel will be fine for 90% of people

Yes, the OLED has amazing blacks.  :P  I loved the look but then my parents booted me out of the family room and I had to go back to my 23.6 inch Asus 1080p monitor.  Lol.

I didn't do that.  I should have though.  If I get the chance and my parents aren't looking, I'll test that out for you.  That screen though... eye candy.  Omg.
