Hello Forum, I was starting my first stream on Twitch.tv today, and i was using obs with recommended settings. I have an i7 7700k and a Titan Xp, paired with a Maximus Code and 32 gb of 3333mhz Corsair dominator RAM, so a pretty nice pc. I should be able to stream 720p with 60 fps pretty easily, but when i begin my stream, and load up CSGO (a game that needs very little to run at high fps) and get around 60 fps on CS. I have played around with every obs setting, reset my PC multiple times, and installed new graphics drivers. I have tried all different settings, but even when i try to stream at 720p on 30 fps i get MASSIVE fps drops in games making them unplayable. I see people with 4770k and gtx 970 streaming CSGO at 720p 30fps getting over 250 fps on CS. I am not sure what to do please help.

Thanks,

Joey

If you've set OBS to capture a specific window, try setting it to capture the whole monitor instead or vice versa, and see if that helps.
