Low fps? Evga gtx 1080 hybrid

howdoichangegpu

As title says, i just got the evga 1080 hybrid cooled, my setup is below. In bf1, i get between 50-70fps on ultra, gpu at 100% cpu at 50% i run csgo at 120-140 fps gpu at 50% and cpu 20-40%, yeah and vsync disabled, xbox dvr disabled and even tried with k-boost. Anyone knows what is going on?
Oh and cpu never goes above 55c and gpu never above 45c. Latest drivers are installed.

Could it be rendering in 4k then downscaling to 1080

What do you mean, like downsampling or something? Inside of nvidia control panel thing the resolution is set to 1920 x 1080

It could be the game trying to help make a clearer image

How do i prevent this? Because at some points fps can even dip to 90, and in bf1 the fps can be as low as 50

If you're only running into issues when playing CS:GO try entering these commands into launch options-high -nod3d9ex -threads 4

Possible things like multisampiling

I did try putting settings 1 by 1 to either off or lowest setting, no progress there either

Then the next steps I recommend is the following:

1.) Take a look at the power plan options in Windows and make sure it's set to High performance. You'll find this under Control Panel > Hardware and Sound >Power options.

2.) Download and run IPDT and see if you get any errors.

3.) If you're not running into any issues then try resetting CMOS on the motherboard. Either by removing the CMOS battery, or using the CMOS jumper.

CPU load isn't really an interesting metric, try looking at per-core load.

I did, 1 core got max 50 in csgo and same in bf1

All I can suggest is clean install your Nvidia drivers and see if there’s leftover amd ones, maybe even look into any for your system in general (drivers etc) and well, other than seeing what hogs your resources and the per core usage. I have no other ideas there, sorry if I’m no help :P

My PC (Known as TRX):

I did the IPDT, everything passed and there was nothing wrong, i reset the cmos, but nothing got better, and the high performance part, that was one of the first things i ever did, and it didnt work

It can do it no problem. (Maybe not 144fps for 144hz all the time) But certainly easy to drive 60fps+

Just wont be AS FAST, but certainly isn't "Unplayable"

OP has some bullshit goin on in his system.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
