Do you have it overclocked at all? If so what do you have it clocked to and what do you have the vcore at?

Have you tried reseating the cooler? Also what are your ambient temps like and what are the temps at idle? We're going to need a bit more information lol.

Could have lost silicon lottery. In terms of temps, its not in danger zone so should be alright, but if its running like that at stock, then it seems like there really isnt any room to push it further. I would advise trying to lower voltages to see if you can get better thermals, check for positive airflow in your case, and make sure your using accurate tools to read temps just in case.

It's not overclocked and I think the cooler is seated properly. I will post more info later.

What kind of cooler do you have? Do you have it set to a shallow fan curve to reduce noise - sometimes the bios refers to this as "silent mode"?

I've set the fan curve manually to max out at 70C.

What kind of case/case fans do you have? If it's not getting enough cool air into the case to the CPU cooler it will not cool it as efficiently. Also what is the ambient temp in the room? If the temps where you are located are higher than normal your CPU temps will increase as well.

I have two fans at the front and two at the top, I don't have any at the back because the IO cover is too big. When I took off the fan filters to improve to airflow and run benchmarks again temps stayed the same so I don't think it's an airflow issue. The ambient temp is 24C

I also noticed something wierd in Aida64 - the grey line (CPU) is always lower than the cores are, you can see it especially when it idles. Here is a screenshot of Aida running CPU + FPU + cache test for 10 minutes. Is it normal?
