PC Upgrade

I'm planning on upgrading my current PC setup, however, I do not want to upgrade the CPU or GPU as they both serve me fine, however, I would like to upgrade things such as the case, motherboard, RAM, PSU and add more fans.

To add some context my PC is a family computer that was pre-built as my dad purchased it from PC world( Acer Aspire TC-603). This means that both the case and motherboard are some crappy Acer made products that I cannot find any useful information on.

In terms of upgrades, i wouldn't mind keeping the RAM I currently have however I don't know how to see if new motherboards are compatible as I don't know how to identify the RAM I currently have. For a Case, I was thinking about the Corsair Crystal 460X RGB as it looks amazing and looks like I can install lots of fans for air cooling, speaking of which I do not want to use water cooling due simplicity and cost.

My budget for this is probably £250

Current Spec:

CPU: i7-4770

GPU- GTX 1060 6GB  (Link)

Everything else is not great and I would be happy to replace, Current case has no fans and CPU is using stock cooler

Any suggestions and ideas for this would be greatly appreciated and if i haven't provided enough information i am happy to do this

The Master Liquid 120 and 240 cost about as much as most Air coolers. They aren't complicated to install, it's just screwing the fans onto the radiator and then the radiator onto the case.

Double check that the motherboard is not some proprietary form factor that will actually fit into aftermarket cases if you don't change that.

That is important. Hopefully it is a regular ATX form factor.

If you have an indoor dog and or live in the country make sure you get a case like the fractal r5 where there is proper dust filtration.

Should also elaborate on the same point that if you do not change the mobo, make sure your PSU does not use proprietary connectors that don't exist on standard ATX power supplies.

Meshify C is a good case, so is the S340 and 400C.

Thanks for all the help dude. I would like to buy a new motherboard just because my current one looks meh at best and I'm not sure if it's even a good motherboard honestly. For a case I feel like my heart is set on the 460X, however, any feedback on the drawbacks of that case would be greatly appreciated. I made a mistake in my OP as I told you I was interested I upgrading lots of things, however, I do not need to upgrade any peripherals or monitors. An SSD would be nice however is not a necessity.

Thanks for all the help to everyone else though it is greatly appreciated!
