AOC AG241QX will be fine 24inch 144hz with 1080 ti?

jimi23

1080p for a 1080ti is stupid imho. Almost as buying a 1080ti and not having money for a good monitor.

It should be fine, as a 1080ti can push 144 frames or more in most games, and you can just cap it at 144 if it goes over. G-SYNC is mainly for cards that can't consistently push the maximum refresh rate of the monitor, so the refresh rate of the monitor is variable to match what the GPU is outputting.

This is 2560 x 1440 (WQHD). But it will be ok with 24inches not 27. ?

Oh well, yeah then it's fine on the GPU side. However I think 24" is a little small. Is there a 27 version?

I'm running an AGON AG271QG (1440p 165Hz) on my 1080Ti. Very good experience, still rarely have to lower any settings.

1440p is better at 27in than 24in because of pixel density.

Have you used a 1440p 24" monitor before?

Personally, no. But according to another, older thread on this site - people prefer 27in but also some a 24. I certainly prefer 27in 1440p to a 1080p 24in, the 24 feels too small and in overall screen size compared.

I don’t think there’s a definitive answer. 24 vs 27 will be a personal preference thing. What size monitor do you have now and are you happy with the size?
