so i had a problem a few days ago and i posted here for some help

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/87263-endless-reboot-loop-mobo-or-ram-dead/

i ordered new ram and a new mobo the ram delivery was delayed  for lack of stock but today i received the mobo i tried the new mobo with the old ram and old cpu and guess what the problem of the old mobo apeared on the new mobo but now the cpu fan wont start so i went to the mobo manual and in the troubleshooting part it says that if the cpu fan wont star there must be a problem with the cpu socket or the cpu or the psu i know psu is good because i used it for a full day in a spare pc so i again took the cpu out of the mobo and the problem remains the same endless boot no beeps like what was happening in the old mobo when i remove only the ram (i only have one stick of ram) the pc boots and starts beeping asking for ram so is the cpu dead or just the ram?

I'm assuming you mean the CPU power plug. They come in 4 and 8 pins.
