So I got my new shiny MSI 1070TI 8GB and I've heard that it can reach near 1080 (stock) perfomance when overcloked.

I'm totally new to the GPU overclocking scene, I've only overclocked CPUs. I have couple questions.

1. Is there a guide specificly for 1070 TIs?

2. What about warranty?

3. How much shorter will the lifespan be?

4. What program to use?

I'm aiming for perfomance boost not balls to the walls OC.

I would suggest looking at a video related to overclocking Nvidia Pascal (10th Gen Cards) like this one by JayzTwoCents  (Long and Drawn out video but some good info.l

As far as warranty goes, I think you are safe, but you may want to double check.  The only way to hurt the card is by adding too much voltage, which you should not have to do.

For a program, you want to get MSI Afterburner... Totally Free and is the go-to for all Nvidia GTX Overclocking.  Also, you don't need an MSI Card to use their software.  Each Card Manufacturer has an application for overclocking, but for the most part, everyone uses Afterburner.

Take a look at the photo I have attached and you will see the dials I adjusted to get a simple and safe OC from your card.

All I did and all most do is change the power limit up to the max and add some to the core clock and add to the memory clock... That's it.
